Youth Mock Council

Youth Mock Council is an initiative of Newcastle Youth Council. It is a free and inclusive program that enables local year 9-12 students to have their voices heard in Council Chambers in a Mock Council environment.

The program for 2019 runs across two days:
Tuesday 7 May from 9am - 3pm
Wednesday 8 May from 9.30am - 1pm

On the first day students will work together with support from Councillors to develop Notices of Motion (NOMs) on key issues that they are passionate about. On the second day students present their NOMs in Council Chambers to the Lord Mayor.

Food and drink are provided on both days.

Please register through your school (hard copy forms) or use the electronic form below.
