2 days from now
11am to 2pm
Set your words free on the images of Home Dignity Justice exhibition and join us in shaping and understanding the interplay between art and language. Using forms such as Ekphrasis, free association and concrete poetry (along with some other tricks to keep up our sleeves) participants will take words released by the 10-minute writing session and let them rest, on fabric, alongside other community writers and artists.
What is Home, Dignity, Justice to you? Write Up! Is a group composed of people who live and thrive with disability, and we’d love to see you find the joy of writing for yourself at our workshops. You’ll need to be ready to write and laugh. Disability is no barrier to attendance, in fact, it’s a welcome place for you. We use art as well as words to get meaning and emotions across. Set your words free. We’ll be able to have lunch for half an hour and of course breaks are up to you.
