Newcastle City Council is taking part in Graffiti Removal day 2017 with Rotary Clubs of Newcastle, the Department of Justice NSW and community volunteers on Sunday 29 October.
Graffiti removal and painting will be undertaken in reserves, parkland and laneways in Newcastle. Everyone is welcome to join in and volunteer. Dividing fences in parkland reserves will have graffiti removed and be painted out by volunteers on the day.
Council will be hosting an event at Mackie Avenue Reserve 1 Mackie Av, New Lambton, starting from 9am. The Rotary Clubs of Newcastle will also be volunteering on the day with Graffiti removal taking place in Wallsend.
