The Diabetes NSW Resource Centre, at 535 Hunter Street, Newcastle, provide a sharps disposal service for people with diabetes.

There are also a number of government and non-government agenices across the Newcastle LGA that offer free disposal services. To find an outlet nearest you, phone 02 4016 4519 or 0409 846 651.

Safesharps.org.au assists sharps users to find the most convenient location to dispose of their sharps safely.
