Frequently asked questions

Customers will need an email address (only one email address for each property) and your eNotices reference number this can be found on your rates notice:

  1. Go to Newcastle.enotices.com.au and enter your email plus your eNotices reference number in sign up box. Accept the terms and conditions.
  2. An automated verification email will be sent back to you. Click the link in the email, and you will be taken to the eNotices platform. 
  3. Enter your mobile number and password (a landline with the area code is also accepted).
  4. You will be taken to your profile and asked to complete further details. 
  5. You can then view your rate notices, add additional properties and change/add email addresses.

Customers who already receive their rates by email do not need to take further action; you will continue to receive your rates notice as usual. If customers wish to access their account on the new system, view their notices and change details, they can complete the following steps:

  1. To log in, go to Newcastle.enotices.com.au and select the 'Forgot password' option. 
  2. You will be sent a verification email. 
  3. Once you click on the email link, you will be prompt to follow the next steps of entering a password and phone number. 
  4. Your property will not automatically appear on their account - you will need to add it by using the eNotices reference number from your rates notice.

Yes, if you have access to the rates notice with a code you can use this to sign up and add the property under your account.

Alternatively, the account holder can also add a second email address for the rates notice, allowing multiple people/companies to receive the notice. 

Yes, the account holder can add multiple email addresses to a rate notice. The rates notice will be sent to all emails listed.

Yes, multiple people can have the same property on their account. For example, this could apply to a brother and sister who own the same property jointly.

However, keep in mind that the newest account to add the property will be the one receiving the rates notice automatically. To ensure all account holders receive the notice, make sure to add all email addresses onto the rates notice.

No, adding a property to an eNotices account means you will now receive rate notices by email only.

If you receive your rates by email but wish to change back to post remove the property from your account.

Yes, starting from the 2nd instalment (issued October 2020) of the 2020-21 financial year you will be able to go back and view old statements if you require a notice older than this contact Customer Service

Yes, agents (or solicitors/other relevant parties) can create an account and add properties using the unique code on the rates notice.
