Join us for the time-honoured tradition of the firing of the guns at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Tunnel tours will not be available on the day however all exhibition rooms will be open and guests can enjoy Morse code demonstrations.

Get your family and friends together and walk, cycle, run or scoot to your local activation to enjoy the celebrations. Take your towel, take your picnic rug, reconnect with family and friends and enjoy some of Newcastle’s iconic locations!

With the weather forecast to be HOT please ensure that you stay well hydrated, and be sun safe (hat, sunscreen and sunglasses). There will be plenty of water available at all locations.
