Call out to Hunter Health Workers!
We've all faced incredible challenges this year and particularly our health workers. As a way of saying 'thanks' and promoting playfulness and wellbeing we are offering our local health community a series of 'Scrubs-Off Art' creative workshops.
From hospital cleaners to consultants, pharmacists to psychologists, whatever your field, as long as it involves health, and you can show us, we would love to have you come along and get creative at Hudson Street Hum.
Join us for this special opportunity to try your hand at clay 'sketching'. Figurative artist Yvette Ten-Bohmer, will guide you through the process of creating a 3D 'sketch' with clay and a life model. While you get to take home your very own sculpture made from air-dry clay, the main objective is to improve observation skills and general brain joy! There is no skill level necessary for this workshop, just an openness to come and try something new.

Thanks to the City of Newcastle Boost Arts and Cultural Grant, this initiative supports both local artists and our health workers.
