We think our coast is precious to both the local community and visitors to Newcastle. Therefore we'd like to hear your thoughts about what you love about our coastline. Tell us all about your favourite coastline destinations and activities!

The Love Our Coast survey will take about 10 minutes and your feedback will help us develop plans and projects to enhance our coast for future generations.

Newcastle's coastline covers 14 kilometres and includes:

The Northern beaches (Northern Stockton Beach and Southern Stockton Beach)
City beaches (Nobbys Beach and Newcastle Beach)
Suburban beaches (Susan Gilmore Beach, Bar Beach, Dixon Park Beach, Merewether Beach and Burwood Beach)

Next Steps

Your feedback will help us develop plans and policies to enhance our coast for future generations, like our Coastal Management Programs (CMPs) that include long-term actions to help enhance these important areas.

We will continue to keep the community informed on the progress of these plans.
