Comments are invited on the public exhibition of a Planning Proposal to amend controls in Newcastle LEP at 23 Merewether Street and 8 Lingard Street, Merewether - Lingard Private Hospital in accordance with Councils resolution of 23 November 2021.
The Planning Proposal intends to:
- rezone land from R3 Medium Density Residential and B5 Business Development to Zone SP2 Infrastructure zone (Health Services Facility)
- amend the maximum height control from 10 metres to 18 metres
- remove the current floor space ratio control from the Hospital sites.
