Why survey?

We're engaging with our communities through our quarterly survey to remain informed and better understand how we can meet community needs through service delivery, programming and projects. We know from extensive community consultation during the development of the Newcastle 2030 Community Strategic Plan that it's important to continually engage residents, ratepayers, businesses and stakeholders.

About the survey?

The quartely survey has been carried out seven times since 2018 and has covered a range of topics from services and facilities through to events and communications that relate to our work at the City. Each survey is about ten minutes and seeks to gather insights around community priorities, values and levels of satisfaction. Conducted online, the survey is promoted widely in an effort to reach as many people as possible.
