All Newcastle Libraries branches will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period. Branches will close at noon Thursday 24 December 2020 and re-open Monday 4 January 2021. We've taken the worry out of your borrowing this holiday season by automatically adjusting item due dates and reservation dates to compliment our closure period so there’s no need to return your items until after we re-open in the New Year! Return chutes will be open during the closure and you can renew your items via the Newcastle Libraries app or website.

Newcastle Libraries is operating a COVIDSafe service model, and our library branches are open and ready to welcome you. Limited face to face programs for members, pop-up spaces and outdoor library events have recommenced and bookings are essential.
