Pedestrian safety upgrades

Council, in partnership with Roads and Maritime Services, is aiming to improve pedestrian safety and help keep students and their families safe around schools, as they travel to school and home again.

Corlette Street drainage improvements

Council is undertaking work to construct larger stormwater pipes in Corlette Street as the current drainage line, extending from Kenrick Street to Parkway Avenue is undersized and in poor condition.

Anderson Drive, Tarro - Renewal project

Council is undertaking watermain replacement and relocation, footpath construction and road rehabilitation on Anderson Drive, Tarro.

Harry Edwards Oval, Lambton - Field reconstruction

Council is reconstructing Harry Edwards Oval in Lambton to improve the condition of the sportsground.

Road Rehabilitation and Resurfacing

Road rehabilitation and resurfacing works scheduled for 2017/2018. Council has allocated $90 million for Capital Works including $20 million for resurfacing works and road, footpath and furniture rehabilitation.

Bathers Way - The Hill

The Hill section of the Bathers Way will provide an upgraded shared pathway linking King Edward Park through to Memorial Drive.

City Hall Restoration

Council is restoring the western and northern façade of City Hall.

Shepherds Hill Cottage

Council is undertaking restoration and reconstruction works to the cottage with crews commencing onsite in July 2017. Work is expected to take up to eight months and will be completed in late February 2018.

McCaffrey Drive, Elermore Vale - Traffic upgrades
