Volunteering at Blackbutt

  • We receive a high volume of requests to volunteer at Blackbutt.
  • Due to this, we are unable to guarantee your application will be given a volunteer placement.
  • If you do not receive an email, it means that we are unable to host you.
  • Should Blackbutt be able to host you, you will receive an email to set up an interview.
  • The interview is required due to working with or in proximity to captive native animals.
  • High School Student work placement - we can host one student per week.
  • Volunteers should be prepared to volunteer from 6:30am to 3:00pm.

If you would like to apply to volunteer please complete our on-line volunteer enquiry form.
