There is direct access to electricity at all shelters at Richley Reserve except for the Pond and Watson Shelters. Wedding location C at Richley Reserve has opportunities for direct electricity access as well.
Blackbutt Reserve is open 7am - 7pm daily. On application, the event licence will allow your wedding to take place outside of these hours.
Yes, Blackbutt Reserve offers many scenic areas for photography.
Yes, you can! You will need to supply a copy of the company's Public Liability Insurance as per Council Policy.
Public Liability is required if you are hosting a major event or using professional caterers, amusement devices or marquee suppliers. Please provide a Certificate of Currency from the organisation's insurers who certify at least $20 million Public Liability coverage for this event and have noted 'City of Newcastle' as an interested party on the certificate. This insurance policy also contains a cross liability clause.
Most areas within Blackbutt Reserve do have vehicular access direct to site. There is a gate opening fee. Please see fees associated within the City of Newcastle's Fees and Charges document.

Once payment has been received, you issued with a licence which includes conditions of use and booking details. This is your proof of payment and booking. Shelters will be roped off with tag line and signs installed.
