Fort Scratchley features a number of historic buildings and installations, including:

The Old Guardhouse (including two gaol cells)
Barracks (permanent accommodation for personnel)
Canteen (soldier's mess)
Servants Quarters
Commandants Cottage
The Laboratory
Battery Observation Post
Artillery Store
Mine Firing Station
Searchlight Directing Station
Master Gunner's Cottage

Fort Scratchley also has five Museum Rooms open free to the public that are well worth a visit.
