Our cadetship program is designed for current university students who want to combine study with meaningful work experience. As a cadet, you’ll work full time while studying part time in your agreed program and developing the practical skills that underpin your academic learning.

Cadets work across diverse areas of our organisation, contributing to projects that shape Newcastle’s future. These areas include:

Town Planning
Engineering
Science and Environmental Science

Business, Economics, and Finance
Media and Communications
