Newcastle 2040 - it's our future
Newcastle 2040 is City of Newcastle's (CN) Community Strategic Plan (CSP). It is the highest level of strategic planning undertaken by CN and sets out a 10-year roadmap identifying our community's vision and aspirations for Newcastle.
Newcastle 2040 is a shared community vision, developed as a guide to inform policies and actions throughout the city for the next 10+ years. With direct input from a wide cross-section of the community, it represents what we value in our city and what we want to prioritise. We will be a better city in 2040 thanks to the input and insight of the community members who contributed their time to this planning process.
During 2024, we've been reviewing our current CSP - Newcastle 2040 and we would like to thank everyone who has shared their thoughts and ideas so far. We've used your feedback to updated the Plan and ensure that we are heading in the right direction toward a city that we can all be proud of.
Check out the revised Plan and let us know if we have got it right. You can have your say from 12 December 2024 to 30 January 2025.
