Barking dog

If you are experiencing issues with a barking dog, you need to: 

  • Raise the issue directly with the dog owner
  • Seek assistance from the Community Justice Centre to mediate with the dog owner on your behalf
  • Keep a log of the actions you've taken to address the issue and the frequency/length of time that the dog barks

If the issue persists after conducting these steps, submit a request including a log of actions taken and details of the barking activity.

Update desex status

Deceased pet

If your pet cat or dog has sadly passed away, you must notify the relevant authorities within 28 days. To arrange this, either:

  • Update your pet's status on the NSW Pet Registry to 'deceased', or
  • Complete the following online form so that we can update the register on your behalf
