Training programs to support local jobs and help businesses recover

Newcastle's economy is changing, and we as a community need to adapt along with it. COVID-19 has also posed huge challenges, and has forced many businesses to look at new ways of operating.

That’s why the City of Newcastle has funded training courses under our NewSkills program – to assist Novocastrians and local businesses gain and develop their talent in emerging industries or areas of rapid change and disruption.

In partnership with professional training organisations, we funded training initiatives across a range of areas.
