Major Event Sponsorship supports the emerging and established events to increase profile and encourage visitation and/or participation. Events to be of significant size, with high levels of attendance or economic/visitation outcomes and extensive reach.

Major Event Sponsorships summarised

  • To support emerging and established events to increase profile and encourage visitation and/or participation. 
  • To support events of a significant size, with high levels of attendance or economic/visitation outcomes and extensive research. 

For Events being delivered from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022:

  • Round opens: 3 May 2021 at 9am (AEST) 
  • Round Closes: 31 May 2021 at 4pm (AEST) 

NOTE - If the proposed event falls between 1/7/21 and 31/08/21 please contact esp@ncc.nsw.gov.au before submitting the application.

$10,000 - $20,000 (ex GST)

*An extra $5,000 (ex GST) is available as seed funding for new events only.

$280,000 (ex GST)

*For all streams of Event Sponsorship Funding (ie General, Major, Regional Sport and Business)

  • Legally constituted not-for-profit organisations  
  • Businesses
