In accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and/or City of Newcastle's (CN) Community Participation Plan the below proposed development applications fall into one or more of the following categories and therefore are notified for community awareness.

  • Designated development;
  • Nominated integrated development;
  • Threatened species development;
  • Class 1 aquaculture development;
  • Potentially hazardous or potentially offensive development; or
  • Demolition in Heritage Conservation Area.

Expression of Interest
For lease, fit-out, and operation of the Shepherds Hill Cottage, 41 The Terrace, Newcastle
Contract No. 2022/005E

Expressions of Interest are invited and will be received up to 2pm Tuesday 17 August 2021 for the opportunity to lease, fit-out, and operate the Shepherds Hill Cottage from City of Newcastle.

Interested persons, businesses, groups, or community organisations can advise of their interest with documents which are available electronically at www.tenderlink.com/newcastle.

Responsibility for lodgement by the deadline lies solely with the interested party. Lodgement information is provided in the expressions of interest document. Council is not bound to accept any submission.

Enquiries must be directed via the tenderlink forum.

There are two opportunities to inspect the building prior to the closure of the Expression of Interest period at the following times,

  • 1pm to 2pm, Monday 26 July 2021 and
  • 1pm to 2pm Monday 2 August 2021.

Should an interested party require to attend the meetings on-site, then please indicate through the tenderlink forum. Attendance at any site meeting during the expression of interest period will be at the interested party’s expense.

For lease, fit-out and operation of the Dixon Park Kiosk, 50 Ocean St, Merewether
Contract No. 2021/845E

Tenders are invited and will be received up to 2pm Tuesday 17 August 2021 for the opportunity to fit out and operate the Dixon Park Kiosk building under a lease from City of Newcastle.
