Blackbutt Reserve holds a special place in the hearts of locals and more than 50 years after opening, remains one of our City's most popular tourist attractions.
This 180 hectare nature reserve is just ten minutes from the city centre. It is an oasis for locals and home to all sorts of wildlife and a natural asset we are continually maintaining and upgrading.
Key works that have recently been completed include an adventure playground, revamped animal exhibits, updated picnic shelters, and a new wildlife arena.
