Hunter 100: Circular Economy Youth Leadership Program

The Circular Economy Youth Leadership Program has harnessed young people's passion to protect our climate by providing them with the skills, networks, and confidence to solve problems around transitioning to a regenerative circular economy. Our program has pioneered career opportunities for emerging students in the Hunter by developing skills for the workforce of the future.

Our inaugural Hunter 100 circular economy introduction program ran online for three weeks in late 2021.

The three-week online program gave participants an overview of what is the circular economy, how businesses can create value by reusing and recycling products, and provide you with the skills to implement a Circular Economy. This program has also provided an overview of circular economy activities that have happened and are happening in the Hunter region.
