Clean Energy Transition Community Education Program

This project, undertaken by the Hunter Jobs Alliance, was a training opportunity for Newcastle businesses and the community to understand the changes and opportunities available in the transition to clean energy. Many people are broadly aware of the economy-wide shift towards renewable energy sources, but are unclear on what these changes may mean for individuals, households, employment and industry, This education program was designed to increase knowledge around what the implications of transitioning will mean, and to provide pathways for businesses to realise the economic potential that may be created for Newcastle.
