Projects and Works

The transformation of Newcastle into a smart, liveable and sustainable global city continues, and we have many projects under construction as part of a record $116 million capital works program for 2020/21 that will sustain up to 700 local jobs and increase the city’s economic output by $275 million.

The City of Newcastle's Delivery Program and Operational Plan 2020/21 have been combined to reflect our integrated approach to support the Newcastle 2030 Community Strategic Plan
